That Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to be one of the biggest PS5 releases of this year is a bit of an understatement, and like with any upcoming major first party release, Sony is looking to fully capitalize on its popularity. Recently at San Diego Comic-Con, developer Insomniac Games showed off a new story trailer for the highly anticipated superhero sequel, while at the same time, Sony has also revealed limited edition hardware to tie into the game.

A limited edition PS5 console, DualSense controller, and PS5 console covers (for both SKUs of the console) have been unveieled, all three featuring a visual design that highlights the red of Spider-Man and the black of Symbiote, with the latter’s tendrils slowly creeping over the former. Of course, the white Spidey symbol from Insomniac’s Advanced Suit can also be spotted on all three.

A Limited Edition Bundle will be available and bundle together a limited edition PS5 console and DualSense controller, along with a digital code for the game’s standard edition. Meanwhile, if you already own a PS5, you can also purchase the DualSense and the console covers separately.

The Limited Edition Bundle, the new DualSense controller, and the PS5 console covers will all go on sale on September 1, with pre-orders set to begin on July 28. Meanwhile, those in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal can also purchase the products directly from PlayStation Direct.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20 for PS5.
